Hey guys, the Hurricane Championships will be an exciting, 64-man bracket-style tournament! It will be using a new mode that is currently under development and will be announced within the week. Everybody is accepted in this tourney, and we aim to have a lot of fun!

So, let's start off with what I know you all want to hear...the prizes:




How this will work:
In the first two rounds, each pair will play one match, and the winner will be recorded. They will move on to the next round. The third round will be first to 2, the fourth round will be first to 3, and the final round will be first to 5.

The first round will be done in 4 sections, the second round will be done in 2 sections, and the rest of the rounds will each be done in 1 section each. The last two rounds will be done on the same occasion.

If somebody disconnects or does not show up they will, unfortunately, be disqualified from the tournament. In the final round if somebody disconnects and returns within 5 minutes they will be allowed to continue, but if they were in the middle of a match that match will have been lost.

First round timeslots:
The first round of the tournament will be done, as previously stated, in four sections. They will all be on the same day, which will be a Saturday. I can not say an exact day yet, just know that it will be on a saturday for sure. I will be offering the following timeslots for the different sections:

22:00 GMT

I will go through all these PMs and try my best to get everybody to the best timeslots for them, although depending on the number of people requesting each slot I can not make any guarantees. I am aware that in some places of the world that means you may have to do the tourney at inconvenient times. I am very sorry if this is the case, but these times, I think, serve to be of greatest convenience overall.

Mod:Jujitsu

Hey guys, just made this and I'm pretty excited about it. It's sort of like a cross between aikido and amateur wrestling,with some other miscillaneous elements thrown in there for good measure. It is sure to provide a unique play experience. This will definitely be the mod used in the tournament. Small tweaks may still be made, but it is unlikely. I'll attach the mod and 4 replays from multiplayer.
