Nabi Endurance Championships

Hey everybody, and welcome to the special NABI 24 hour endurance championships !! This tournament is sure to be an exciting one unlike what and of you have participated in in the past!

What is it? The Nabi Endurance X-Treme is a unique, 24 (twenty-four) hour long competition. You do not have to be present for the entire 24 hours of course, don't worry. Throughout the time you are playing you will earn points for various feats and match outcomes. You will even win some points for losses and draws! So, speaking of scoring, let's keep moving right along to that!

Scoring:
win a match: 5 points
win a match and decap your opponent: 7 points
Win a match with more than 150k points: 8 points
Draw: 1 point to each player each
Lose: 2 point
Lose, but decap your opponent: 3 points

(note: decap is defined as a dismemberment at the neck joint, separating the head from the rest of the body)


Standard Prizes:
first place: 250k
second place: 100k
third place: 50k

Special Prizes: We keep track of all the high scores over time, and those who hold the high scores get an icon texture, and a special pre-made image to go with it! This texture gives you a small image just below your name, and very few people have them. Don't get relaxed though! If you hold a high score and somebody beats it, you lose your icon texture; the only person with the texture is the current record holder! There are separate high scores for the 24 hour and 8 hour competitions though, so there will be two people the textures at any given time. If somebody has both records, they will get a special image as a reward.

Date: Friday, March 27th through Saturday, March 28th (depending on where you live, it might start saturday and end sunday)

Time: 23:00 GMT(friday) - 23:00 GMT(saturday)

Rules: The server will only have room for 12 competitors at a time, to make sure things stay moving and everyone has a chance to get points. Because of that, anybody that is in spectator mode for more than 5 minutes will be kicked. When you get back if the server has space you can come back in.

Unlike previous Endurance tournaments, you can stay as long as you like in this one.

Be nice to people, guys. No flaming. You'll be warned and if you keep doing it you'll get kicked. If you come back in after the kick and continue to do it you may be eliminated from the tournament at the host's discretion.

No excessive spamming or chat colors. It lags the server and it's generally annoying.

Mods: Every hour, the mod will change. It will cycle between Judo, Wushu, and Aikido. These three basic mods have the greatest total playerbase in my experience, so that's what we're going with.

Who can compete/How do I compete? Anybody can compete! Just show up to the tournament while the server is up during the 24 hour period listed above and play! Any points you earn in the manner listed above in the scoring section will be recorded. If you leave, feel free to come back. Your points will keep counting up.

Plans for the future: We will continue to have our 8 hour endurance event as well, of course. Ever month, we will have an endurance event. Two months in a row will be the 8 hour event, then every third month will be the 24 hour event. Our first two endurance events were splendidly received by those who participated, and those participants asked for more...so, that's what we will continue to give them!
