I have updated to a new client, enabled textures and nothing seems to work. Would really like a fix for this I'm out of ideas on how I would fix this. Thank you.

So have you tried to /dl your tori?

Maybe try reinstalling toribash or switch to the opposite version (standalone to steam) or visa versa.

This also might be due to the server being down
