The culture created around reddit and those other communities allow for such things to be posted. This isn't the same case for the toribash community at all, this game is a turn based fighting game where people go on the forums to discuss things related to that alongside showcasing replays. On top of that, there are also many kids who play this game and believe it or not browse the forums. Imagine if majority of the reddit community were kids and the people in the community knew that, those who post their nudes would be facing the same backlash maya is right now. So making the comparison to communities where the culture allows for nudity to be posted is completely absurd. This is a community filled with kids and maya knew this very well before posting those photos.

untrue, considering that we have a board like off topic (and all of its subforums) and the entire clan discussion forum, where virtually any topic can be discussed -- look at the abortion thread, which doesnt have anything to do with toribash.
however, its obvious that you cant post nsfw content in off topic or clan discussion since they are public forums. wibbles was a private board which you had to buy access to and every nsfw thread was labeled as such, with all caps, bold, colored NSFW prefixes in the titles. i don't think it can get more blatant than that

a lot of minors browse reddit and there are subreddits dedicated to them, even. i wouldnt say wibbles was necessarily an adult space, but the nsfw threads, well, they obviously were. they were labeled as such. if you open an nsfw thread, you should expect to see nsfw content.
we had this same discussion in wibbles before and we had this same sort of back and forth - i even made the same points. i think its ridiculous that people are still beating this dead horse. im sure u guys got ur reasons to dislike maya and im not complaining about that (i thought her first post in this thread was pretty absurd as well), but pushing this "child predator" narrative so adamantly is disingenuous. in those wibbles threads, she was never trying to groom minors or sending them nsfw stuff directly. she was posting her nudes in nsfw threads, under spoilers.

one wibbles thread: maya is the only one that gets called a pedophile for posting porn in a board that allowed porn. i never saw anyone giving 2rud shit for replying to ancients requests. if you saw his thread, you know what i mean.

btw (since i really wanna make this point as clear as possible), wibbles "culture" and rules allowed for porn to be posted. when we had this same argument, i suggested that if porn was causing all that conflict then we should ban it. not only maya's, all of it. that never went forward though

Ok for one, I'm not calling maya a pedophile or child predator at all. I'm just trying to make the point that even though she posted in NSFW threads, I don't think the toribash forums is the sorta place to be posting things like that. That may be my own personal opinion which I get, but it also seems to be many other's opinions too which is why maya is getting hate for that. I totally disagree with people calling maya a child predator, but I stand with my opinion that toribash forums isn't a place for maya to be posting her nudes, even if it's labelled on a NSFW thread.
Also, I never said there can't be subforums where things such as abortions can't be discussed. I just think there should boundary to how much freedom there is on these subforums. Unfortunately I can't talk on the 2rud one because I never saw what ancient requested but I do remember seeing 2rud's thread and what it was all about.
At the end of the day, the only thing maya does all day on the forums is constantly act like a victim to others and tries to label everyone else as a very bad person because they differ opinions.
