Hello, so as you know, at 4:00 of February 24th Russian Federation invaded Ukraine - my Motherland where I live and where I am RIGHT NOW.
Russian forces bombing our cities, killing our people, not only military but also civilians. Putin doesn't care about deaths of his soldiers and the economic crisis in which he drowns his country as a result of the invasion. In addition to permitted weapons, they also use weapons, that are banned widely by many countries, such as cluster bombs and vacuum bombs.
His plan was to conquer Ukraine in two days BUT it didn't work by any means. Our soldiers alongside volunteers and Territorial Defense Forces resist FOR 6 DAYS STRAIGHT, killing and capturing those, who came to our land uninvited.
Putin won't stop on US, his plan is to revive USSR by the annexation of territories of these countries that once were a part of it.

Obviously europe could wipe out Russia without much trouble, but they don't want to start a world war. Especially when nuclear threats are being made. They're still sending a lot of equipment though, and encourage volunteers to go and join Ukraine (Which, they got like 20k foreign volunteers at this point). That's way more than "sanctions and mean words".

The commenters above (but with a few exceptions) are clearly unaware of just how terrible this whole thing is. People are dying, in terrible ways. People are burning alive on both sides. They are torn apart by projectiles. There is misinformation from the media on both sides. The real hatred is being blown right now. Between people who speak almost the same language and have not so different culture from each other. Someone finds it funny how someone's parents die, someone whose children were sent to the battle.

All who are not involved in the conflict are in an observer position. You are doing absolutely nothing. I sincerely wish such "humorists" to be in exactly the same situation. Feel the bombardment of rockets, shooting from morning to evening. Pain from flesh being torn from gunshots, fever from infected wounds. Hunger, fear of death. The realization that you were attacked, or sent with a lie to fight with the brotherly people. Sitting in bomb shelters around the clock and sleeping on cold floors.

I appreciate everyone, who really support my people in this war whether informationally or financially, and for those "edgy cynics" - I wish you never experience the horror my people experiencing right now, sitting in shelters because of the risk of getting a fucking Iskander missile at your house.
As of 07.03.2022 Russian forces have damaged or completely destroyed 202 elementary schools, 34 hospitals, over 1500 civilian buildings including high-rise ones, left with no electricity, water, and heating more than 900 settlements. Regarding to OHCHR as of 05.03.2022 it counted 351 deaths and 707 injures amongst civilians and this number only raises every day, every hour. Regarding the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine, 38 children died and 71 got injured as a result of Russian forces firing and bombing our land. Even with these so-called green humanitarian corridors, that have been aligned with the Russian side - they opened fire at it, at the civilians.
Russia is rapidly isolated from the major part of the world as a result of sanctions that have been already deployed. Putin takes censorship to the absolute extreme, it reminds me of Orwell's "1984" where people couldn't call the war "war", all the media in Russia, that did not stick to the pro-government propaganda line and tried to keep translating the reality as it is to the masses, are now gone under the pressure of being jailed for the long terms. Russia’s parliament passed a law on Friday imposing a prison term of up to 15 years for spreading intentionally “fake” news about the military, basically, that means if you call the war "war" and not a "SpEcIaL oPeRaTiOn" as Putin called it or if you post anything, regarding the situation of the war in Ukraine, that hasn't been previously informed by the Ministry of Defence of Russia or was, but with the different context and numbers, you are posting fakes.
Putin's deeds have caused not only genocide of Ukrainians but also massive humiliation of Russian citizens, who have actively protested against the war, being beaten and detained by the Russian authorities. Let alone Russian soldiers, over 12,000 of which were already eliminated and over 1,000 captured, and for what? There are plenty of videos of captured Russian soldiers, who are let to call their relatives, watch it, listen to what they say, this is very important.

This is happening mostly because America and Nato keeps trying to push 'democracy' in the post soviet states including ukraine, not saying what Putin is doing is right but at the same time America and Nato shouldn't be doing all this shit directly on Russias border. If Russia was doing any of this on America's borders like creating Bioweapons labs, sending weapons, controlling who's in government (Biden threatened not to send 1B in Aid to ukraine if a prosecutor wasn't fired) etc etc, we would have nuked their asses. Just look at the Cuban Missile Crisis as an example. America kept poking the bear then when the bear got angry we all cried wolf.

I do have to say that the timing of this is all very strange and I wouldn't be surprised if the World Economic Forum's (WEF) 'New World Order' had something to do with this, as figures such as Justin Trudeau, Dan Crenshaw, Tulsi Gabbard, Zelenskyy and even Putin were in the Young Global Leaders program of the WEF and this could be a push to ultimately install a world government.

Listen, you are overestimating the role of the US in this story and you don't understand the historical context of Ukraine - Russia relationships.

We have a long history of confrontation with Moscovia first, then being occupied by Russian Empire, later by the USSR ( Soviet - Ukrainian war, Holodomor - the man-made famine in Soviet Ukraine in 1932-1933 years, which led to a horrific death of millions of Ukrainians and followed by that settlements of the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine,INCLUDING DONBASS REGION, by Russians) and after we finally got our independence, which itself leaves a lot of questions like why the fuck we left a communist to rule our country, but even after that Russia in a face of Putin tried to interfere and force us to become a member of so-called Customs Union.

They tried to make their proxy Yanukovich the president of Ukraine by shamelessly falsifying the results of the president elections - it led to an enormous resistance from Ukrainians and so-called Orange revolution back in 2004 (I was there with my parents) where defended our right for the democratic elections. It didn't come out good because Yushchenko, after he got poisoned during the revolution, turned out to be incapable of resisting to the force of Russia and he made Yanukovich a premier minister. After that Yanukovich became a president in the next elections. This is where the history of our demitalitarisation began, the army was plundered, compulsory conscription was canceled, extended the lease of the Black Sea Fleet base in Crimea for Russia for another 25 years, greenlight for the Russian propaganda on the East of Ukraine and on it's Southern parts including Crimea, like for example there was a political party of Aksionov, who is now a head of the occupied Crimea currently, that was agitating for an annexation of the Crimea Republic to Russian Federation BACK IN 2010, 4 years before the Maidan. But Yanukovich realized, that with such visible and unhidden pro-Russian position his cadence won't last all 5 years so he started acting like he's about to turn Ukraine to the "European way", saying there are no alternatives for the eurointegration of Ukraine in 2013, meanwhile "secretly" bargaining with Putin for a better "conditions" for him and his party in Ukraine as a par of the Customs Union. After that he refused to sign the association with EU in Vilnius which led to a student protests (I was there) in the end of autumn of 2013. It lasted for some days until the Berkut, at that time some kind of a Riot Police, has beaten students viciously including women which cause a huge wave of anger amongst the Ukrainians, and this is how Maidan, the revolution of 2014 began.

After that the wheel of Russian Propaganda started spinning like a crazy one, Eastern part of Ukraine was flooded with separatist agitations, stating that some Nazis are preparing trains of doom to come here and banish and punish everyone who speaks in Russian, even tho in fact there was a huge amount of Russian speaking Ukrainians in central part of Ukraine including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kropywnytski etc. And amongst the protesters there were many of them, mind me to say no one gave a single shit about it? To the fact, I must admit, bigger part of my life I used to speak in Russian. Well, unfortunately for the Russian propaganda, even tho Eastern Ukraine never had those nationalistic moods amongst te citizens, it didn't fall under the pressure of these fakes because there were still a lot of native Ukrainians unlike in Crimea, where the major part were native Russians and the opposition for them were Crimean tatars. So in most of the cities of Eastern Ukraine, where the Russians and separatists tried to seize by force the administrative building, they've got a major resistance so the Russia needed to send the troops to help separatists forces.

The operation was led by the Russian army veteran and former Federal Security Service (FSB) officer Igor Girkin (a.k.a Strelkov) who played a key role in the Annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation and also Transdnistria, another Russian proxy project, an unrecognised breakaway state located in Moldova. It's an open source, nothing BREAKING, you can find the information for yourself Girkin even has his own blog, where he complains about Russian forces incapacity.
As a result of this operation Ukraine got a "smoldering" war conflict, huge humanitarian crisis as many people, who did not agree with separatist, left their home and moved to the other parts of Ukraine, and many many deaths of civilians and soldiers for these long lasting 8 years with an apogee of a full scale escalation and genocide of Ukrainians.

Putin made it clearly, he doesn't see Ukraine as an independent country. We were GUARANTEED with a sovereignty regarding the Budapest memorandum. The memorandum prohibited the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. As a result of other agreements and the memorandum, between 1993 and 1996, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapon.
Agreements doesn't mean shit for geopolitics, that was a huge mistake made by our "leader".

We never wanted to be a part of NATO and never needed until Putin started to tighten us into his swamp in a first place so please, don't act like you know everything because you know nothing. Go spread the knowledge of how much of creatine you can consume so it won't be converted to creatinine in your body, do not "explain" me why my people including children and women are dying under the shelling of Ukrainian cities by the Russian forces.
