Gangsta's Paradise* + Larry Sanders and Doug Rasheed were the ones sampling Wonders, while Coolio just hopped on to it and wrote verse to it, he even had to remake the verse once more because initially Wonders hated it due to profinity and would not allow them using the sample with those lyrics.
