Toribash 5.77 preview
5.77 is now available on Steam alpha (all platforms) and for Windows standalone.
No new features but this build significantly reduces RAM usage required for replay cache, fixes a bunch of memory leaks and should generally improve performance due to various internal optimizations.

Keep in mind that this update is experimental and didn't go through the regular testing process, so it's entirely possible that it will introduce a whole range of all-new and never-seen-before bugs. Or it won't.

Android build might also become available as an open beta some time in the coming days depending on Google review process.
Why didn't you answer your staff complaint, Icky gave you such a detailed breakdown

On a more serious note, as some people may be aware I do not longer work as a full-time Toribash developer. This build is a result of me wanting to experiment with some stuff and it felt like the results of these experiments may be worth it for some people, especially in our trying times with RAM becoming a luxury. There are also plenty internal optimizations in the build that should generally boost CPU-heavy operations, which is always nice no matter what hardware you run - and it's all especially useful for mobile builds.

Looks like Google accepted the beta build, so you should be able to opt in for it either via Toribash's page on Google Play or by using this link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing...udios.toribash

Pushed an update for Android that addresses some crashes in login/register screen introduced with the original 5.77 build (oops) and incorrect player model ignore handling
Will probably push it to Steam later today as well
