Hello toribashers!!!!

Here I will show to us some know characters or random creations I do.

Hope u guys enjoy, thx!

App Used: Photoshop CS6

Resolution: 512 x 512 (enlarged)

Ermac

Ghost

Venom

Looks GREAT! I have a few questions, though: which AI-powered diffusion model did you use for image generation? Midjourney? ChatGPT? Grok Imagine? Are you running a stable diffusion model locally on your PC?

Please let me know... I'm something of an AI "nerd" myself, and I can't help but get a bit excited when I meet someone who might be as enthusiastic about it as I am! I'm personally a HUGE fan of Grok Imagine.

There's a lot of detail there, that's noone going to see ever, I think the 512x512 limit helps me to find the right path for how much detail is too much and what lines work and which ones don't if that makes sense.
For example, the texture on the ermac leather is probably very washed out in game, while you could introduce a lot of texture if you stayed within the boundrys.
I mean you can even see this effect in your 3d views of the venom head. all those small lines on the forehead are basically invisible ingame

i thought it looked too bad and low res to be 512

here's what it would look like at his set resolution (2048 for some reason)

here's 512

not nearly as bad as his preview. He's probably uploading the head into his 128 slot unaware of the quality loss I guess?

I think more so than going too detailed maybe the tga is being compressed to hell or something, because usually low quality turns blurry because it gets resized but it looks both sharp and bad so it's not like it's blurry I really am a little baffled at how idk fried and crispily low qual they look; maybe he passed it through some AI filter as well afterwards? no idea frankly

@grok what's going on?

Since this seems interesting, should I continue and launch the texture generator by putting it on a button for Toribash and kill the artists?

Hey guys, how’s it going? So, none of the artworks above were generated with A.I.

They were all made using Photoshop CS6 and without a drawing tablet (Wacom or anything similar), just a lot of patience and a mouse haha. (Should I be happy that they look AI-generated? Either way, thank you!)

About the image dimensions, some time ago I thought about increasing the pixel count to achieve a smoother and less “jagged” image.

Yes, it’s possible to do that using a 512x512 resolution, but it’s more accurate in higher resolutions.

Over the last few days, I’ve been thinking about resizing the images back to 512 and adjusting the texture quality.
