i never noticed anything, i guess if u spray too much it can weigh it down and it's probably not the best thing to do, but if ur hair is generally healthy and all that it's probably not going to kill it

I wear Tom Ford Ombre Leather pretty often. Most fragrances I wear smell pretty floral on me when it dries down, so I end up smelling like leather flowers. Also, Killian Angel Share because why not.
Honestly, I dont wear these often though. I have a small obsession with my clothes smelling as fresh as possible, so I dump a lot of laundry beads in my wash cycle, as well as borax and like 2 other things. When you work in a hospital patients dont really like strong scents but they all seem to like the fresh smell. So if i can smell like detergent for 12 hours then im content

anyway I feel like that's a myth, I'd guess it's the alcohol that your skin doesn't like because it can be pretty drying
there are some fragrances that have no alcohol and instead use oil as the base. alternatively you could spray it on your clothes instead of straight onto your skin, it still works just the same (in fact it can last longer on clothes iirc, not sure though)
