So you are running a VPN so the game will work in your country and monitoring the traffic on it and paying good money for it essentially.

Very cool. I don't need this but other people could use it. There are great VPNS today such as LifeLock and Norton Security

The Russian government blocks VPNs (and they do a pretty damn good job), so Russian users usually need a self-hosted solution.
To clarify on "monitoring the traffic": I'm not monitoring anything or snooping on anyone's traffic - even if I wanted to, I couldn't see what people using this app are doing. The most I could see is that they're doing something, but not many details at all.
