Sir has made me realize that the truth is far more important than whatever blackmail they hold onto those with no staff power. I read the threads and saw them disappear and reappear in front of my eyes, I've chatted with my clan mates in confusion, and realized that being silent about what happened will allow the staff to twist the narrative. I couldn't sleep for days, I'm finally going to get this out of my chest - you know about Icky now, but Melrose? He isn't who he seemed to be.

Three years ago, while I was still an item forger, I had the chance of working with Melrose privately to make his friend an item. I made Melrose's head item previously for free for a reason, and it wasn't something an item forger does out of charity; 3D modeling takes time.
What was weird is instead of it being in DMs like his own item was, he sent me a Discord invitation where I was to join a voice call and screenshare my progress on the item to him. This is what the item in question ended up being:


It wasn't the voice call itself that was weird, no. It was the one channel I had access to in the server, which is when I realized at the middle of the call that this was Icky's server. He was the only one with a colored role, and everyone else had the default role "Goblins". Probably an inside joke, he likes DnD I guess. I managed to work on the item without giving this much of a thought.

Melrose was adamant that the item MUST include his own tori, which is an odd request for a friend's item, but whatever. While the item was being exported, curiosity got the best of me and I started digging around the chat history, and what I discovered made me feel disgusted. Remember help squad? or clan squad? Truth of the matter is all the staff usergroups were supposed to be a temporary experiment. This is why "Event Squad" rebranded from many versions of usergroups every few years with a new color...it's not something you casually decide to do within a day.

Icky wished to hire anyone who was gullible enough to be molded into the perfect image he wanted staff to be, some sort of figure for the community. Searching in the channel, I found out that Icky has been calling in favors from familiar faces - sir included, before kicking them off the team once they've finished. Melrose held the role of transferring valuables from one account to another with his admin tools sandwiched between event items and torishop purchases. Most of the staff members existed for a few weeks at a time prior to suddenly disappearing and taking an unannounced hiatus from the game with their active inventory getting emptied, and yet nobody has ever connected the dots.

I think Icky realized that I was looking into the channel since I was kicked out of the voice channel as soon as Melrose's friend's "free" "commission" was done. Icky joined, and then I realized they were probably talking about me. I managed to get this screenshot which, seconds later, they've banned me and then immediately told me in DMs to delete whatever proof I have of the place "or else".


I got multiple DMs from Icky and Melrose telling me to keep quiet, and that I had no choice in the matter. The only thing I could've done is change the "Ikea" on the side of item to "Ickya" as a hint for who was the puppet master all along, the one who was building everything for the favorited staff to sit on.


Have any of you noticed that old staff like Swosh, who once was an admin, are able to disappear for a while and then suddenly rejoin staff with a very short trial period? and the moment these old staff members became full, another is conveniently forced out of the team? Weeks passed, and weeks became months, months became years, and nobody caught onto my coded message. The only one who noticed was Melrose himself a few days after the item's done, who after finding out about this, confronted me in DMs. After that, I "left" the team and kept my distance from the other staff members without them knowing the true reason.


Melrose hasn't contacted me since then and not even when he "left" the leader role behind. Today he's cold DM'd me where he acted in denial after reading sir's post. I think he knows I'm next to talk about what happened and that nothing's holding me back if others are doing it. In fact, I think he's the one who has been trying to remove sir's thread to hide all what's been happening, since he's been talking about specific staff members who shall not be named that might help with his situation.


sir and EPOCH found the courage to tell their side of the story, and now i no longer care as people need to hear what's been happening behind the scenes. Merlose has been conspiring alongside Icky this whole time, spawning items together, selling items together, figuring out what accounts to drain items and TCs from...do you remember Icky's confession to wanting his own "Stellar moment"?
I'm sorry for rambling in this and not saying anything about this earlier, I couldn't do anything until the others did. Szaszuniya & a few others aren't responding to me anymore after telling them I'd post this, I'm worried the council already forced them to stop.
