Purchasing a New Computer
Compaq Presario CQ2100

• Intel atom Processor
•1gb ram
• 160GB HDD
• Windows XP Home

-----------------------

These are the specifications for a cheap computer my parents are looking at buying for us, I wanted to know whether that is any good for playing Toribash, if not what are the requirements to play toribash at a high frame rate WITH shaders.

I hope this goes in gaming chat, i don't think it falls into any other category.

i think thats a ripoff, that processer will probably cause tb to chug, and the graphics card wouldn't run shaders either..

You'd be able to do way better just building your own, if you can do that sort of thing ;s

or you could hire someone to do it for you, and it would still probably come out cheaper.. and better.

About buying and assembling a new computer, i don't think that that is feasbale due to my age, 15. It would have to be already asemmbled at a store.

And over the internet, i don't think my parents would have that. Thank you guys for your help though, if i were able to get a gaming PC for myself over the internet i would do so.

2.5k a week! Bro hook me up, i wanna pick some mango's.

And i am in no way up with you guys on what your talking about.

I have a piece of shit computer, i don't have any intention of making this one better. So a new computer is the way to go.

What specs do i take to the dude at a store to make sure the computer will kick toribash ass.

Well, how do i buy all of the parts required to make a computer? I can't buy them over the internet, and it's not like i can go in to a store and say "i want that monitor, give me that processor thinger there, i will have that video card, now put it all together for me"
