Good insite ash, to many members could be a problem. I like the suggestion for a 2nd dan minimum although not so much having 2 stages.

How about -

1) Make a thread called "Want to Join Urban?".

2) Everyone that posts there will have to post 3 replays of their choice.

3) If they are good they can be tested by any Elite.
(we can update a list in the first post for those who's SP replays passed and are waiting to be tested)

4) If he passes, he becomes a SubUrb.
(Can be announced in SubUrb News)

Aye, that's the jist of it. Invite will be rare and only for the best of the SubUrb, winners of SubComps and alike.

I think we should start with aiming for upto 20 Subs. All 2nd Dan or higher.

They post in the "Want to Join Urban?" thread. Everyone that posts there will have to post 3 replays of their choice and give some other details.

If they are good they can be tested by any Elite. We can update a list in the first post for those who pass the replay and are waiting to be tested.

If he/she passes the MP test the Elite who passed him/her will make the voting thread in the SubUrb forum.

SubUrbs will need to be with the clan for a couple months before even being considered for moving to Elite status. Tbh I don't really want to dwell on this as I really cant see it happening very often and i think we all understand that it would entail full testing, voting and all that banter. It will be a very very rare thing and is not really something for concern. We can expect Subs to come and go it wont really be a big deal.


All current members would be elevated to Elite status and move into the Elite forum.

Elites Status -

Passive moderation (Keep the Subs in line, PM Flubbah, Rutz or me only if really needed)

Free to host comps for the Subs

Majicpooky, If you want someone to skip the SubUrb path and go straight to Elite, we can vote on it at the time.

Ashaltaf, We should stick with only two groups. Subs and Elites.

Leilak, No, there will not be SubUrbs, normal Urbans and Elite Urbans. Just SubUrbs and Urban Elites.

There is more stuff we need to address but as i said im pretty pissed... so, yeah. thats all i can be assed saying now.

20 would be the limit. Suggest something lower if you feel it is to high.

There will not be a 'two week period' where the Suburbs then move to Urbans. They will just be Suburbs. Thats it. No point complicating things.

I was of the mind that Subs would answer to all of us to the same standard. All Elite's would be equal to each other. An Elites word is law, no questioning it. In this sense all Elites are leaders, masters, trainers, hosts, clan mates, friends and all that jazz rolled into one. If there was ever the need for a 'leader' to step in a simple PM to Rutz, Flub or me would suffice I'm sure.

Well its just an idea atm. Currently college is taking to much time to finalize anything. If we were to introduce something like this it would require a fair bit of management to start. My main exam is on the 3rd of June, so after that we can finalize some stuff.

Feel free to continue the debate.

Method 2: Invite

Any elite can also invite a new member and make a Voting Thread to introduce them to the clan at any time.

If they are a well established player a Voting Thread will still be made. A request must be made to a leader before the thread is made and the thread will have clear indications that it is for [Urban Elite].

Members will need to be [SubUrbs] for 3 months.
An elite will make a Voting Thread if they feel the Sub is worthy xD

The voting procedure will be the same one we have been using however with this change comes a bit of refining. I'm going to set these 3 requirements.

Testing from at least 4 elites in a variety of mods.
Voting from at least 8 elites [we have 14 members total so I think this is plenty]
Voting will last 7days to allow for testing.

If there is a positive response we can welcome them to the clan as a [SubUrb].
There will be clear indication if moving straight to [Urban Elite].

Their name will also be added to a list in the News thread during this period.
