Basically as slip said the graphics engine has been improved. Textures aren't coming out blury, instead they actually look like they should.

If you want to smooth something out or get rid of a sharp edge just use a smudge tool or similar when you're editing them.

It may seem like a pain in the ass, but look on the up side - a line now looks like a line! Bumpmaps now align better too.

TBH bumpmaps worked better without shaders in 3.7, but yeah they look right on both now.

Transparency is weird ATM, I'm looking into it. So far I've came to the conclusion that if a layer is set to 50%+ it'll show as fully opaque, 49%- is fully transparent.

If I find a way around it I'll post how to do it.
