i jumped from "World's rank #78" to "Master Belt rank #19"
I think this system is better at all.

I guess I don't see a huge bonus effect for me since I am a custom belt, and most people who had better ranks than me before were custom belt, but I am glad others are excited about it.

Because the low ranks change constantly. It's common for your rank to drop loads until you've been playing for a while.

You get rank 0 if you are banned or have played < 2 games

This will show up as "unranked" in-game.

I was like "Whoa rank 16 from 75". Then I heard that it was a new ranking system :P
I guess this is better than the last one (I guess..).

just to be clear... are 2nd dans ranked separate from 3rd dans??
also is there some where that says how the ranks are calculated?

my rank is affected when I fight some one of a different belt, yet I am ranked against players of an equal belt.
Higher ranks should be given to better players, like if a brown belt is better than a black belt, the brown belt should have a higher rank than the black belt.
This new system doesnt say as accurately as the old system who is a better player.

also this new system doesnt help with all the awards that involve ranks.

I will make my point clear. Even though the way the ranks are calculated is unchanged, showing them by belt does not help because the majority of your opponents that you verse will have a different belt to you. Therefore most of the time this new way of displaying your rank is useless.

I like the idea of the new system, but it doesn't work most of the time.
I still think they should have the old way of showing the rank as well as this way.
