ok we should hold tourneys, ASAP to determine who the elites will be. But first we need to discuss and decide as a clan how it is going to be run.

I will make a new thread for this discussion.

Its now time to see who our elite fighters are. Tourneys will be held in each of the mainstream mods to determine who will be the elites. Before we can start we need to discuss some rules and decide how we are going to run it.

Current elites:
Aikido: Yungmoney
Judo: FishSticks
Wushu: FishSticks

Challenges:
FishSticks challenged JorreI. - Judo - SUCCESS
Wiggi challenged JorreI. - Aikido - FAIL
Wiggi challenged FishSticks. - Wushu - FAIL

Rules:
-You must declare publicly in this thread that you want to challenge someone.
-The elite status must always be earned. ie you can never win by default.
-Once a challenge is accepted, the challenger must pay 1000tc to FishBank. (the elite member pays nothing)
-The winner gets 500tc

This is how it all works
we hold a few tourneys, the winners will duel eachother and who ever wins gets the elite status.
Once we have an elite member in each mod. Other "normal" members will be able to challenge them. So the elites will have to defend their title in duels.
Any member who wants to challenge an elite member should pay 1000tc to the Clanbank. If they loose to the elite, the elite gets half the TC and the rest is kept in the bank. If they defeat the elite member, they get to keep half of what they paid as well as winning the elite status.
Members that want to challenge elites must ask publicly in this thread, and the elite must respond. If two people want to challenge an elite they must first duel eachother first and the winner goes on to challenge the elite.
I will keep a track of who wants to challenge who in this first post, this will mean that elites are required to check this thread regularly. If an elite doesn't reply to or rejects a challenge, the will investigate and decide what to do. The elite status must always be earned. So if an elite member looses his title an new tourney will be held to find a new elite member.

This way the clan profits from the challenges and so do the elites. The TC is necessary to prevent people continuously challenging the elite members with no loss. Otherwise it is not fair on the elite, and being an elite has no benefits.

Yes elites will wear the tag Elite[Fish]

and the pot has got to be decided on, but nothing lower than 2000TC.

yes the first elites will be free. When ever we are looking for a new elite, a tourney will be open to everyone. the winner of the tourney will become the new elite.

well in that case, we could draw up a tree. for example if there were 6 players all wanting to tryout for elite.

the three winners face eachother in a knock out match or duel eachother again....

yes or you could have a witness, such as a clan leader.

but really both players should return to this thread after they duel to tell what the score is and be honest about it.
