Do we need anyone's "Seal of approval" to hold a Toricon or can we just be like "Toricon Florida August 5th!" and give a list of rules and regulations then and there.

I ask because I am curious if we all had the opportunity to coordinate a fierce party with some players. *cough, that would like to visit the sunshine state ;)*

Pretty sure that there's only been 1 or 2 'official' toricons. The multitude of binge drinking escapades labelled 'toricon' are the result of productive, motivated people actually getting off their arses and organising something. Best way seems to be to get together and work out a good date on irc or msn with people vaguely close to you.

Are there any moderators from Australia that would come to a Toricon if organized?
