It took me 7 layers to make that shell.
Hand drawn. And by the way, took me about an hour to make that shell.
I did it with a 1 pixel brush and a bit smudging. With some color balance work

I don't really know...
I will make a full sand set of this.
And I already have some very unique ideas for the set. You guys will really like it IMO.
May be I will leave the set for my self, maybe I will sell it... still thinking. But if I'm gonna sell it, it will cost a bunch of tc. :P

And I made some slashes on the face.
From them, there are some peaces of skin-sand :3
Later,I'll add some cracks.
Some work with the color balance, and the head will be finished I thinks... :3

I think you should lighten the shell up a bit. It's very hard to see.
