Actually, I've been doing this for a few years now.

I have way too many weird ass dreams like that.
I have an mp3 player which has a record function, so I just keep it at my bed side and if I wake up at night, record what I remember of my dream.
Its good to try and move as little from where you were sleeping as possible with that kind of stuff.

And Snorlaxen, don't feel shy, not like we're going to attack you if you say anything silly.

EDIT: Well, it really depends on what the topic of the thread is.
If its something critically important I could understand the dilemma, but the last two threads I checked were about singing about darth vader and how bad ass eating crackers shaped like fish is.
