What games are you most looking forward to this year?
Here are some of the games im looking forward too.
Battlefield 3.
I have been a battlefield fan since BF:1942.
played BF2 on PC for over 2 years until COD4 came out
Currently play Bad Company 2 alot on PS3.
I guess they are taking the 64 player maps with jets, and prone from BF2,
and also have the destructible environments of BF:BC2.
Now to get a computer that will be able to run it....
Batman:Arkham City
I am a big fan of stealth games. whether its Arkham asylum, the Metal Gear series, or Splinter Cell series.
Ive beat Arkham Asylum a couple times, and the challenges are fun.
Arkham City should be larger and more open than AA, and they have improved the hand to hand combat aspect also.
Portal 2
Portal was a great physics puzzle game.
It was the first of its kind, making you think outside the box that your box is sitting inside.
I cant wait to mess around with the portal gun again
They added a couple more things to make puzzles harder and more fun.
Infamous 2
Infamous was a great open world game. i think of it as GTA4 meets assassins creed meets Fable.
You can go anywhere in the city you want, climb any building, unlock more electricity based attacks.
And choose whether to be famous, or infamous. Choosing to turn off a valve thats poisoning the water supply,
or force a civilian to do it, poisoning him instead of you.
cant wait to see what new powers to unlock.
Metal Gear Solid RISING
One of my all time favorite series, Metal Gear.
Like i said before, i am a HUGE fan of stealth based games.
This installment is set inbetween metal gear solid 2 and 4.
As raiden, not solid snake, showing what he did in between games.
He still has the high frequency blade from the 2nd game, but is more badass as he is now cyborg like.
The developers call it a "hunting stealth" game as opposed to the "waiting stealth" of the previous games.
With your sword and superior acrobatics, you stalk your prey, and with your sword, you can cut through almost anything.
With a "bullet time" type view, and a reticule designed for the "free slicing" mode, you can cut the limbs off an enemy,
and cut him into 4 peices before he hits the ground.

Sadly, MGS: Rising isnt coming out till 2012
