One of the main problems with Runescape is that a large proportion of the community are a bunch of complete and utter twats.

The sheer amount of scams that go on at one time, with your "Doubling money" bs. The stupid amount of hacking - two of my friends have been hacked for a combined total of 450m lost. I myself just got scammed 5m (Stupid me, I've avoided the ss trick before) because I was desperate to unload some stuff, in order to try not to lose money. Irony, heh.

It really pisses me off how it is. Why, oh god damn why. Such a great game, spoiled by the community.
