Real time ranking
In the upcoming day or so I will switch out the ranking system.

The means all ranks will be reset and you will show up as "Unranked" first game you play. (Or if you have a custom belt it says rank 0, this is a bug in the client).

The new system has multiple rankings:
- Global ranking, contains your overall ranking (like the first ranking system we had)
- Mod ranking, one ranking per mod (now you can be rank #1 in aikido.tbm etc)

What has been improved:
- Ranking is real time, updates right after the match.
- Ranking is based on a modified Elo formula that suits Toribash.
- Online ranking page, http://forum.toribash.com/tori_ranking.php

Note! We are still checking how it behaves under load of multiple servers running. I might need a few server restart to get out any glitches.

Ranking is bugged when playing against unranked players, I'm trying to find out what happend. Rankings will probably be reset. Please be patient.

um yes i have a deadly diesease called iganephropathy btw the iga is pronounced i.g.a... so anyways back the my question CAN YOU PLEASE FIGHT ME OR HELP ME GET A FLAME I HAVE ONLY 10TC i know it sounds like im begging but i might not have much time left to live im getting sicker and sicker each day and it sucks cause im like 12 years old and in sixth grade my parents split up one month ago my brother just moved out my uncle and grandma just died... so could you please just battle me? ya know to take my mind off of it all and i have tried to join all your games to tell you this so please please oh please hampa

Check the third row witch contains the Elo rating. Elo changes around +/- 1 each game.

So.. if you win one game against anyone, you have a good chance of being #1

EliteZ on the other hand needs to win about 4 games to reach first position.

If so it reminds me of Afro Samurai, love that.

You don't have to find rank 1 and rank 2,you just have to surpass them in Elo rating.So,yeah just play more.

maybe they should make this rank system only work in offical servers, idk might help because of the farming issues. I know it would still be possible but when its a public server and the only way of increasing your rank is from playing on these servers, there would always be a good amount of people in there and it would make it very hard to farm. I know there are some mods that need certain qi requirements ,such as ninjutsu to get into official servers but maybe you could just make some more for lower belts. You could also just make it so that you cant get ranks up if the person playing with you has the same ip adress, would that stop farming ranks to some extent i think

also some1 answer my other question?

Hmm,or maybe it should be made if we change the rules of the mod...the match won't count.But,for example if we change the frames to a higher value than it would still count.Or even requiring the presence of three or more people for the match to get counted.

So,we can stop their farming by not making their win count if they change the game rules.The way I see it a person could farm either by using several accounts,and I think those are easily caught is in they have the same IPs.Or,he would be farming with other online accounts ...in that case I also think there are ways to catch them if they are farming qi.But,what if for example one account is losing repetitively to another player on purpose.To this account it wouldn't mean much because he's using an alt that he doesn't give a fuck about.But,the other is having an abnormally good global rank.Maybe we can try and detect continuous losses for two people playing in one server...and investigate in the thing if it reaches an abnormal level.
Now,I don't really care that much about ranks ,although it's a great new feature(hey you can't complain).I'm just thinking that it might not lead to a fair representation of the actual results.
