What's the problem?
The first image in your post definitely has a particle texture on.

I put particle texture in the deactivated, then instead of it being a alpha imperial flame, it looks like the first image

Oh, so even though you deactivated the flame particle texture, the flame image won't go away?

You have to delete the flame.tga file located in your custom folder.

My Computer < Local Disk < Games < Toribash < custom < PTDx < and delete the 'flame.tga' file from there

After you've deleted the flame.tga file from your custom folder, go back in-game and type /dl PTDx, wait for it to say "Download Complete" in the chatlines, and then type /lp 1 PTDx.
