Sorry if this should be in wibbles, but "let's listen to" threads go here, so I figured this would.

Personally I like the one by Ugly Kid Joe. It's the only song ever where I like some version better than the original. The original was by Harry Chapin, however, and is also great. I will post youtube links to all the versions that I know of.

They are in order of best to worst in my opinion. If you only listen to 1 LISTEN TO THE TOP ONE it's amazingly well done.

hhmm. For some reason those links aren't loading right in my firefox (My P.C. has been acting weird today) But I know the song and if I am not mistaken Johnny Cash did it on one of his later albums. In my opinion his was the best because he was Johnny Cash and did everything wonderfully. Second would be Gun's and Roses, for what are probably novelty reasons seeing as I don't ever listen to them. Third would be Ugly Kid Joe, again because they rock and most things they do are o.k.

Johnny cash's version is like 4th on my list.

Wich ever one would have kickass bass and heavy metal if any of them do.

And Slith how can you not like this song?? Do you not get what it's about/how deep it goes, or what? I just listened to it for like the hundredth time and it still brings tears to my eyes.
