Renaissance
I have taken a long, financially induced hiatus for well over a year now. Maybe two, haven't kept track. I have spent the last couple months trying to immerse myself in the world of Toribash. I find myself feeling disappointed.
When I first joined Toribash in '08 it had a different atmosphere. There were always people in the Ultimate rooms and Clans were truly in power. Now it does not seem to be the same. Some of my friends have gone. Now I find myself lost perspective or passion for Toribash. I find three questions :
What is the future of toribash?
What is the future of RAWR?
Who is the driving force in the community?
P.S. and to my friend Mosier, I miss you.... R.I.P.

Siku is Finnish, that is why he lacks people skills. It has nothing to do with his species. So no need to be raciest Boredpayne. lol
No, nothing that I know happened to Mosier, he just doesn't seem to have anything to do with TB anymore. I can't even catch him on the IRC room.
BenDover, saddly I must disagree. RAWR, or at least several members of RAWR really drove the community. Though the skill in RAWR is great, it was you involvement in the community that really earned your celebrity status. It's something that I am not seeing anymore with RAWR's string of inactivity. The RAWR seems to have turned into a dull roar as you all ascended to heaven.
I was very excited about RAWR back in the day. I had good friends in Mosier and Nuthug. Even Mantrain and Cindermomo were friendly with me often. I even remember you playing Ben. I remeber Cinder's beautiful shaders and Ben's textures. But I digress.
Though you all seemed to be an amazing collection of people, time has changed things. I have been grieving for almost a week now that RAWR is so removed. However, I can not continue if I am going to try to remain apart of Toribash.
It is my hope to find a group of people at least trying to be a driving force in the community, much like RAWR was.

Siku, not speak fluently in two weeks. I have trouble with that in my native language. I meant it for understanding the mechanics of Finnish. They are complex as you illustrated. Sorry for the confusion.

I have never even applied to RAWR. Just so you all know. They were my friends. I feel sadness from missing my friends. To honor my friends I want to put everything I can in to continuing their great works. It has taken me a week and I still am at a loss on what I can do to do this. So I have decided to search for people like them. That is the purpose of this thread.

and Siku. I thought you were being funny with being so angry, but not I am considered that you are doing nothing but making black marks on RAWR. 5 years from now I don't want the memory of RAWR to be tarnished with your conduct Siku.
