idk,atmosphere just doesn't feel right to me,I mean i'm sure it's not ment to be realistic or anything,and i'm it takes some skill...but still I'd prefer to play some atmospheric combat simulation over fast paced shooters.it's not i like shooters that much,i'd play casually like 1-2 a week ;)

try sniping at arma 2 with ace 2 mod. you don't know what the word "hard" really mean.

and thats as realistic as game can come to milsim ( VBS2 )


about simulation: ACE2. get it and try out.
if you think default arma 2 is complicated you are extremelly wrong aswell.
default arma feels like arcade without ACE mod.

backblast simulation, medical supplies, fatique system, weight of equipment, proper scopes, wind simulation, proper sniper and artillery tools and equipment, proper sights, damage model air vhicle controll ( not flight model ) and lots and lots of new equipment including tear gas, flashbangs, any kind of explosives and ied, map tools, new weapons and vehicles and lots lots more what i can't even remember.

so fuck yeah. i doubt any other game can beat that except arma 3 and ace3

ah, and i forgot the ACRE, which simulate combat radio, so ytou adjust freq and and other stuff to be on same channel with your fireteam, and you got several types of radios, including long range radios everything with interactive realistic interface,
and hey, it will sumulate breaks and decreasing quality depends on distance, surroundings ( hills for example ) and so on.

Hearing all that stuff about ARMA 2, I'm totally going to steal my brother's copy.

ey zalmo, whats your user name in battlefield? also, sniping might be difficult in BF3 because of bullet drop or when the accuracy decreases when you are sniping people from far away while you're moving but its fun when you get used to it.
