I am on an old iMac G5 PowerPC OSX 10.5.8 Leopard
I got my Toribash 3.86 working again.

Vox provided a C++ code that was designed to edit the tb_osx file that is part of the Troibash App.
I compiled the code and attempted to run the patch but the patch was not able to find the tb_osx file.

Vox's Patch was designed to edit the the IP Addresses the Toribash App is supposed to use.

Old{"66.230.224.102:22001", "66.230.224.102:22000", "66.230.225.250:22001", "66.230.225.250:22000" }; 
New{"144.76.163.135:22001", "144.76.163.135:22000", "144.76.163.135:22001", "144.76.163.135:22000" };

I decided to edit the tb_osx file myself.

tb_osx can be found by:
•Right Clicking on the Toribash App
•then selecting Show Package Contents>
•Contents> MacOS> tb_osx

I opened the file in TextEdit and used Command+F to Find the old IP Adresses and replaced them with the new ones.
(((COPY/PASTE))) Edit the IP Addresses ONLY!!!
There may be multiple instances of some old IP Addresses in the tb_osx file and some old IP Addresses may not be present at all.

The 3 dots at the end of the new IP Addresses should be added.

66.230.224.102:22001 is replaced with 144.76.163.135:22001
66.230.224.102:22000 is replaced with 144.76.163.135:22000
66.230.225.250:22001 is replaced with 144.76.163.135:22001
66.230.225.250:22000 is replaced with 144.76.163.135:22000

Due to there being many IPs now here are some alternatives, but you should be fine with the first one unless there is server maintenance.
66.230.224.102:22001 is replaced with 144.76.163.136:22001
66.230.224.102:22000 is replaced with 144.76.163.136:22000
66.230.225.250:22001 is replaced with 144.76.163.136:22001
66.230.225.250:22000 is replaced with 144.76.163.136:22000

The manual way takes about five minutes. I warn people not to change anything but the IP Addresses as you could definitely ruin the Toribash program and not be able to play at all.

Sorry the downloaded file didn't work. I'll update it in case something is wrong with that one.

I think it would work with just about all of them as long as they only change the IP addresses of the server their version is going to access.

I have only provided what I have been able to make work again.

maybe try editing the file yourself.
I don't know if the file is user specific.
My tb_osx file may not work on your copy of the Toribash application.

when you are in TextEdit go to Edit> Find and copy the old address into the find bar then "Replace All" with the new one. Find the other old IP addresses the same way and replace them with their corresponding new ones.

Thanks for working on this guys. I tried the update. It doesn't work on my computer (iMac G5 (PowerPC) OS 10.5.. When I try to open the app it gives me an error message saying it isn't supported on my architecture.

That's because PPC is dead as far as Macs go

Your OS shouldn't keep you from using a forum function.
