Well, if you know the movie it's exact the same.
If you don't know the movie, let me explain: well, the Hunger Games.
1-24 people are in an arena waiting for the game to start, when it starts you will be able to move, in the mid of the 24 spawns circle there are usually 8 - 24 chests, there you can get basic equipement like a wooden sword, some armor and food, basicly you will try to be the last one to be alive, then you win.
Usual hunger games take 20 minutes to 2 hours.
You canbasicly win with worse equipement by: taking all the food away and let the half of his health go off, then you can beat your opponent with shitty items, you can also use bows btw.
Also, if I haven't mentioned before, chests are hidden all around the map.
