[Event] Toriworld - Saga of Toriworld's Duel Masters

If you ever dreamed to became super-hero comic book character this is your chance!

Dueling in Toribash is pretty much straight forward, you challenge someone and then you play few games in some mod,
winner takes the prize and that’s it.

But, fighting in Toriworld, in the RPG plane of existence created around Toribash,
you write your story that can end with the death of your character or with total victory,
where your deeds will be drawn and wrote on these pages of this short comic!

Like in every comic we need heroes and villains. You (players) will take those roles.

If you decide to apply for this mini-event your tori will go through comic world transformation!

Then we need to form two groups, one for heroes and one for villains, 12 spots are open, six for each side.
After that you will duel each other in predefined sequence and in randomly selected mods and arenas.
Fights are to the death, only the strongest ones will survive!

Every fight will be transferred into short comic (no more than 6 to 8 pages),
until only one hero will remain against last alive villain.
Then, they will clash in the final duel transcribed into comic of epic proportions.

So, we got our Heroes and Villains. In time their number will fall, just like many of them...

Things that ppl missed to read:

Important!

I will, randomly, pair you up with your opponents and put you inside arenas (again by random).
Then I'll put notification on the first page who is dueling whom, where and in which mod.

Important: If you don't like the game mod I recommended you can change it to other one but only by mutual agreement! Then, inform me about it!

Some arenas have rings, from which, if you step out, you can fall to your death. If such arena is set as your place for duel, whichever mod you get or choose, you have to put round ring in it and it must be 800 units large!

Important: If one player step outside that ring two times during the duel it is considered that he has lost the whole duel!
Also, every decap means you are DEAD! Duel stops the moment you are decaped!

Organize duels between yourselves using IRC, PM, posts on this page etc. That is your thing, I would not meddle in it.

Important: But, when you arrange duel, put the notification on this topic when it will be! If it's possible I would like to be present, or some GM will be there to OBSERVE. Also, some ppl would sure like to come and bet while you fight.
Consider these duels something like a boxing matches where champions are fighting. Crowd, cheering and betting is part of it!

Some arenas have some special conditions that can be activated by random.

In Core Vault Arena it is possible that you and your opponent will have to fight one GM (who will act like a Core Vault Guardian) in specific mod, best of 3.
If you lose that fight - you DIE!

In Golem Crown Arena and Sagara Burning Boat Arena, if special condition is activated, you will have to race in running mod. One that comes last is considered as if he fell out from the ring (didn't managed to run from explosion), and he DIES!

Important: Every duel can be to the DEATH, but also it doesn't have to end like that. You decide this before duel by mutual agreement. If you decide to fight to the death then player that lost that duel will die in comic book (probably in some gruesome way).
You know about Mortal Kombat, and you know what Fatality is.
That happens if you lose duel under 'to the death' conditions.

Last, but not least, FIGHT FAIR! I expect this even from villains and it means double for heroes.

Also, act like you are your character! Text that you write during fight with .me command, might be in the comic book as your actual line!

DON"T GIVE INFO ABOUT DUELS TO OTHER CONTESTANTS OR ANYONE OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM EVENT!

As always send duel replays to my PM.

Best of 5 games means that you play only 5 games, no more, no less.
You can pick a mod, I suggested Aikido, also make a ring 600 in size.

If someone gets decaped = he/she is dead, no need to play rest of the duel if that happens.
If someone steps outside the ring 2 times in a row he fell from the extended bridge in the Core Vault Arena into molten lava = he/she is dead, no need to play rest of the duel.

I got busy with some other dead-lines from my rl job, so, again, I have to apologize Sockete and Scorpio000 for been late with comic updates. Today I hope to finish it.

Well, we got to the 50 page!!! This is big comic ladies and gentlemen.

Sockete vs Scorpio000 fight is over, and I received replays from the duel Maylene vs Azuma, so tomorrow I'll start working on that...
