What is happening to TK!!!
What is happening to TK? I feel that it is the best mod and requires the most skill (sambo/aikido come very close) and would be remiss if it was to be left behind and not carried into 3.4

I understand that we can now make our own servers and granted this means I can still play TK. However this also means that (most of the time) I am the only person hosting TK and new players are "chucked in the deep end" so to speak. (right now for example)

What i would like to see is beginner/intermediate/SemiPro TK servers but i realize this may be a pipe dream.

Have I missed something or are "those in power" trying to make the game less challenging with closer engage distances and more insta mods.

Any thoughts?

I have to disagree with you on that one MowsysWrath. the learning servers are a good thing imo, as they allow players to fight with people there own level and progress gradually.

We just need to have a larger base to learn from

Back in the good old day a newb got better by getting his ass kicked by experienced players until he learned to fight back. That's how I did it, and dang flabbit it'll work just fine for these here young'uns. *dramitcally spits into a pail*

yeah thats true, i was the same. However it would be foolish to suggest that all members want to learn that way or to suggest that having the option is not a good thing.

My main point here is that TK must live on in more than just the memory of us old schoolers. Only being shown the light of day when we personally host it.

Why you, you, you, you young 'un, backsassin' your elders. Why, back when I was a boy, that'd be BLASPHEMY! Why, if you said that back when I was a boy, you would have been burnt, drowned, and then impaled on a church steeple, I dare say. I'll hear no more of your poppycock, child.

You just shut your mouth, child. You know not the evils of what you speak. Why, you young 'uns you need us old schoolers. You need our wise wisdom of all things toribash. Without us, why you young 'yns 'd be flabberghasted. You wouldnt know which end was your glutes and which was your neck, young fella'. Nope nope nope, old schooler servers just ain't right. It'd be depriving the community of something veeeeeery important, young 'un. Me.
They need to make a old schooler server while there at it.

interesting point stix. Although with the introduction of 3.4 that is not necessary as you can create your own servers with minbelt limits on them.
