PETA's Pokemon?
So, PETA has decided to create some sort of parody of the videogame/anime/cardgame/whatever called Pokemon, with the intention of sending a message that the game endorses animal violence. (see http://features.peta.org/pokemon-bla...-white-parody/)
Although they might not have noticed, they are infringing Nintendo's copyright policy (see http://www.nintendo.com/corp/copyright.jsp)
All content on this website, including articles, artwork, screen shots, graphics, logos, digital downloads and other files, may not be used on any other web site, in any publications, in public performances, in connection with any product or service that is not Nintendo's, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, in any manner that disparages or discredits Nintendo, or in any manner that is otherwise exploitative for any commercial purpose or that otherwise infringes Nintendo's intellectual property rights.

This could quite possibly send PETA into some sort of legal trouble with Nintendo. Anyways, I'd just like to know how the toribash community feels about this.

Pokemon isn't inhumane.

Caught pokemon are quickly domesticated like the common house dog while building a deep emotional bond with their trainer. In the anime, if the Pokemon would be happier in the wild, they're released. Examples:

Ash's Charizard- Ash loses his strongest Pokemon because he wanted Charizard to be happy with the Charizard training ground.

Ash's Butterfree- Soon as Ash's Butterfree found its soulmate Ash lets it free to live happily.

Ash's Pikachu- Ash's best friend is still left with the option to live with a damn tribe of Pikachus. Ash ran away and Pikachu came and ran back to him because they were such amazing friends.

It's been detailed time and time again that Pokemon are competitive whether it be fights or beauty pageants. They want to battle, it happens in the wild without trainers anyways.

There's nothing inhumane about it.

Jesus H. Christ, unwanted drama and an ass game from PETA. They deserve to be robbed.
(And yes, I may be going a bit too far.)

Desperately trying to get back into TB...

I shouldn't be suprised... After all, this isn't the first time they made a parody
game. Among them are the titles: Super Tofu Boy, Mario Kills Tanooki, and Cooking Mama: Mama Kills Animals.
