Sup guys.

So i know im not much of an artist or anything but i recently got a tablet and wanted to try it out n stuff.

so here's what i came out with on my first head texture try in about... a year and a half?

But yeah, programs used are.
Trust design tablet and artweaver. some program that came with it.



Inspired by some of those weird as muscle faces...
no reference or anything. 5 minute sketch to test it out


cnc is obviously appreciated but my main reason for posting is if anyone has any specific tablet using tips other than "you get used to it"

EDIT: the random yellow patches are supposed to be patches of hair, kinda like ghouls from fallout3

That's the inspiration, hell, it's more of just a poor re-creation of it xd

But thanks for the cnc guys, at the moment I'm just trying to get the mapping right and the basic sketch right.

I can't start working on the effects and such until I've got the basics down.

With shading, is airbrush the best tool to use in your opinion?

Had another go, only got the flat because I'm lazy.

Did a wee bit of shading, not much to go on I know but what the heck, right?



Just to clarify, the 2 big black holes will be mouth(s), both with teeth, and the eyes are kinda supposed to be like holes... Kinda...

the map is good,but it seems lack of depth if the 2 black holes will be mouth
and it too sketchy,maybe smoothed the line before colored it.And shading need some work too.
but for first try this shows that you will have a bright future on ART
