Is it unable to be pushed by an explosion or does it just get destroyed?

From wiki :-
-It is a common misconception that enough TNT will destroy Obsidian. Even though its explosion resistance rating is finite, additional TNT or other explosives will have no more effect on an individual block than the first.

-Obsidian, unlike most other blocks, cannot be moved by Pistons (normal or sticky).

-Obsidian is one of the three blocks that cannot be broken by Ender Dragons. The other blocks are End Stone and Bedrock.

-It takes 285 times the explosive power of a single block of TNT to destroy a block of obsidian.

That what makes the obsidian useless,but sometimes it is usable to ender chests,beacon,enchantment table and a portal to nether.

in tekkit , there is a stronger block I forgot the name
It's so powerful that people starting to make from it a house for nuclear reactors and stuff

u mean nuclear reactor,High voltage solar array,MFSU,Mass fabicator etc?

Nick. Little advise.

I got that same "Failed to update" error.

How to solve: Go to search thing in your pc and type %appdata%, i think you knew that already.

Then delete the whole .tekkitlauncher and then just open the real launcher again at it will do a new one that works.
Just did this because started new world with my friend.

Do you mean reinforced stone or reinforced glass? They can take nuclear explosion and survive it.
