Got bored once, so i once thought that we didn't have our own kind of sigil, emblem, sign , whatever (not that we'd need one anyway). So i decided to play around in paint.net for a while. Very basic and simple, perhaps there's something more to be added. 3 components: circle (cause i like circles), maldi's old crest i found in the ancient threads that gave the main colour, and a fox. Fox was the tricky part, since i kept thinking what RA reminded me of, starting off from personalities/qualities/skills to something that symbolizes these qualities, and came up with the fox.

Foxes
The wily, cruel, cunning or intelligent fox.
  • Reynard the Fox, a character in stories from medieval Europe, is depicted as a trickster.
  • In the fable The Fox and the Crow by Jean de La Fontaine the fox tricks a raven with a piece of cheese in a tree into singing so that he can pick up the cheese and eat it.
  • In the fable The Fox and the Stork the fox tricks a stork by stealing his food, only to be tricked himself when the stork puts all his food in a long tube that only his bird beak can reach.
  • See also The Fox and the Cat in Pinocchio, The Fox and the Grapes,...
  • Roald Dahl's book Fantastic Mr. Fox shows the fox as an intelligent saviour.

Like i said, it's simplistic, but what do you think?

Not sure about the fox as a motiff, how about a snake. Its got a more classical feel without being cliche'd, got the bizarre/unorthodox motion down (and floor hugging), bit more of a violent symbol too.

Also wikipedia

"The snake represented freedom in Hindu mythology because they cannot be tamed."

"the Vision Serpent, representing the king, created the center axis which communicates between the spiritual and the earthly worlds or planes"

"some snakes (such as rattlesnakes or cobras) frequently hold and defend their ground, first resorting to threatening display and then fighting, rather than retreat"

"as the Buddha sat beneath a tree engrossed in meditation, Mucalinda came up from the roots of the tree to shield the Buddha from a tempest that was just beginning to arise."

"Vishnu is said to sleep while floating on the cosmic waters on the serpent Shesha." - Relaxing? Vishnu? and cosmic snakes from beyond? This totally has to be our new logo, Y0lO swag
Ass is a common ghetto suffix

Got a good point there, i'll see if i can find a good one.

Got a good laugh at this. Good point though, i also thought the same at first ;d.
I would say maybe a cat, specifically a linx or something because of the fluidity of felines. Not a cliche tiger or lion though.

On a somewhat related note, i believe it's a mongoose or marmaset that kills and eats snakes. So they're pretty badass. If you've ever seen one move...not unlike RA style

Mongoose are sleazy little bastards, but they remind me too much of rodents (which they are not obviously). Marmosetts are cool i guess. Cats are too cute-ish for the sigil. I still stand with the fox, both in their stereotype and by the way they look - awesome. Snakes are alright too, so i'll make one with that and we can compare. Also, it doesn't necessarily have to be an animal, i only picked one because it was easy ;). I avoided commonly used cliches like tigers, bears, lions etc, fox isn't so commonly used with the exception of mozilla, so i thought that was a good idea.
