Music item heard by everyone in the server
Basically what the title says. It would be cool if everyone would be able to hear someones song while in a server. Instead of loading one persons music file, it would overwrite the stock music, and your own music item.

Ingame commands to stop or mute the song would be helpful too.

Player buys 'Stereo' item from torishop. The player goes to a music extension on the end of the textures section in the torishop. They press upload and choose the desired music file, of specified format. The player joins a server and fights in tori position. Their music plays to the server. The player creates a server and goes to game rules and a music rule, no longer grayed out allows them to force play the uploaded file(s) and their server hears the song,or if they uploaded multiple songs, the playlist.
Supported.
Well, here is my idea on this...

Just play the music of the person who is using the Tori. Because if you have everyone playing it in the server, it will get annoying. You could just program to where you can hear the toris music and that's it.

That's what usually occurs. For example, if two people are wearing a ground texture, only Tori player is shown. If Tori doesn't have one, then Uke is shown. If neither have it, nothing is shown.

Why wouldn't they want to listen to each others' sense of personalization?

If they didn't, they could always just shut it off (w/a command or some button).

No one suggested that this should be something that we'll all end up dealing with.

I personally like this idea.
I see it as a suggestion that will make other users want to pay attention to the matches, and actually enable the sounds/music.

It adds a sense of customization beyond visualizations, and I think it would work pretty well.

The item to enable this feature can be similar to the current sound items we have now, "boombox" may work well.
With this item activated, maybe it can create a mini-GUI under the players' names while they're playing?

Commands can be made, but the GUI would act as a more user-friendly way of changing various options (such as volume).

This probably won't be marked down as a top priority for the devs, it's sure to take a bit of time to implement. Not to mention it will require more from the engine than it already does.

BAD LUCK
This was actually discussed as part of the original music plan, lots of ideas etc regarding it.

NFI what plan it's going to follow, it's still early days for the music stuff. At the very least an option for playing other people's music via command should be expected, though I'd prefer it if whoever was in the tori-position's tune was playing - sorta a winning streak glory thing.
