You FAQ thread answered none of my qestion's so I am here

I need a current listing of IRC commands or on how to set up a channel so I have the ~ next to my name

Google, there's nothing specific about our IRC server for users.

Here's the basics for what you want to do:

1. Query nickserv, type help, use that to register your nick
2. Query chanserv, once again type help, use that to register the channel & set up ops
3. Get a proper client (none of that webchat nonsense) and set it up to automatically auth your name/pass for nickserv

So yeah, that. Remember that if you're not logged into nickserv with your user/pass then you wont get your op/owner for the channel. Thus get a proper client.

Also Google, use it.
