the shading is a black line or wutevar on a different layer and i lower it the shapes are just lasso tool

When making a texture set should i start with the feet up so that the body all matches and do the head last since its the hardest to do? Or should I do the head first and make everything match it? Which would be easier for a first timer texturer?
