[GM]Classic vs. New School
So you think you've mastered it all? Do you feel as if no mod is a challenge for you? Be it old classic mods or new/modified mods. Well, the Gamemasters bring you a tourney to see if you can back that up and show everyone you are the true mod master!
This is a tourney where you will be split up into two different groups(which will be determined by your join date) and face the opposite team, after which it becomes a knockout type tourney.Team Classic and Team New School.The two groups will go head to head, you will go against a randomly selected player on the other team. You will then fight in both classic and new school mods.If the player from classic wins the classic mod,he/she gets a point.If the player from new school mod wins the new school mod,he/she will get a point.Now the thing is,if the classic player wins the new school mod,nobody gets a point and/or if the new school player wins the classic mod,no one gets a point.So basically you have to win your mod(classic or new school,depending on your team) and try cancel your oppositions point by beating him at his mod(classic or new school,depending on his team). If both of you win/ lose your mods,a third must be played(This you must decide amongst each other)The loser of the deciding match then loses his point(in the case of if both won their mod) and the winner keeps/gets his/hers.So basically after the dual someone gets 1 point and the loser does not.Each player will fight against each player on the opposite team to gain points(5 fights in total each). Will be determined every round by us.
Example:
CoKe(Team classic) vs Erth(Team New school)
Classic(aikido.tbm) - CoKe wins. (3-1)
New school(erthtkv2.tbm) - Erth wins. (3-2)
CoKe- 1 point
Erth - 1 point
Decider mod(taekkyon.tbm)
CoKe wins. (3-2)
Final score:
CoKe - 1
Erth -0
Each mod will be first to 3 wins.
After the group phases.The top scorers(top 4) will then move on to the semi finals and face off with each other.Which then goes on to the finals.This means there will be no groups after the top 4 has been selected. If,there are players with the same points and top 4 cannot be decided.They have to face each other to determine the semi-finalists.
Mods will be decided by us for each round/match.This will include 1 classic mod and 1 new school mod.
Classic mod:
This is a mod that has been around for ages and remains a classic.
New school mod:
This is a mod that has not exactly been there since the beginning/for a long time.This includes modifications to the classic mods.

There are 20 places open for this tourney and the minimum belt will be black belt.This is due to the low amount of entry spaces available and actually being a master of the mods(Hence,experience is needed)

Mods
Each of you will choose a mod from the list of mods(Classic or New School).
For example
[eVo]CoKe vs. [Urban]Erth
[eVo]Coke - aikido.tbm
[Urban]Erth - taekkyon.tbm
So you get to choose this time instead of us telling you what mods to play.
The decider still has to be decided between each other if needed.Use the same way to complete these duels as before,however you get to choose your mods.
Please note,you have 6 days to compete against your opponent. All previous rules apply.

Round stage results
-Replays need to be submitted and the final score/winner must be added after a fight.
-You only have 3 days to compete(fight) against your opponent.
-Decider mod has to be a democratic selection between each other and must be agreed upon together.
-No rage quitting/spec'ing(Insta-dq from the tourney)
-If you ping,unfortunately you lose that game,unless your opponent agrees to replay it.
-Be honest. Do not lie about anything that happens,if you lose-you lose.Accept defeat like a man.
-A minimum of black belt is required to participate in this event.
Classic and New School groups will be decided on join dates.
Time:
3 days per fight.Starts once the 20 places have been filled and the groups have been released.
Semi-finals and Finals will be done with the supervision of the GM's and the time/date will be set accordingly.
