Ignorance has nothing to do with nationality. Granted, a grave number of Americans are pretty damn stupid....its only because they are lazy people.

Well, geography isn't required at all, and I never have to take it. Our school doesn't even offer it actually. But as for the history, at my highschool, everything is foreign history until 11th grade, when you learn US history. (well im taking US history in 10th grade but I took the 9th and 10th grade history classes both in 9th grade)

But yeah, nothing foreign until highschool.
