So taking a leaf from Stellar's book, I'm coming to the forum to yet again call upon your generosity and kind hearts to take a look at this thread
First off, I'll take a guess that you're gonna say it doesn't concern you at all, and in all truth it probably doesn't. This is purely a last ditch attempt to help someone in need in my local community
The story, very simplified goes as follows:
Within the week, facebook and word-of-mouth has exploded with talks of a local kid named Alexander. He is suffering from a stag 4 brain tumor - being absolutely blunt about it.
He was described as perfectly healthy one minute, then the next he had collapsed in his Kitchen and was rushed to hospital.
The reason I'm taking an interest is that he goes to my infant school, some of my friends know him, hell, years ago I saw him running around in the play ground.
He and his parents found out 8 days ago.
At the start, they found they needed to raise £225,000 in order to fly to America and receive the specific treatment he needs.
At the moment (so within 9 days) they've raised aprox. 100 grand, which is amazing, but there's still a way to go.
Just tonight, Richard Branson has pitched in and is providing the plane tickets, but they still need money.
That's the reason this thread has been made.

Now, I'm guessing that you guys won't donate unless there's some kind of incentive, now, due to the short time span and the fact I found out about this today, I don't know what to do
If you donate though, post here, regardless of the amount and you will be entered into a raffle
I will personally send a custom T-Shirt to the winner, saying "Erth sucks" or " "I won Erth's raffle and all I got was this lousy T-shirt" or whatever you want on the front, wherever you live in the world - alternatively, you could just have a toribash related t-shirt if you were so inclined, but y'know, whatever :P
In addition, if you can think of anything I can do quickly, lemme know and I'll judge it's viability
I know it's a steep order, and I know that the fact it's real money and not tc makes it a shit tonne harder, but please - ask your parents for their cards, whip out your paypal accounts, anything is appreciated for this kid
If you really only want to donate tc or items, I'll happily also add them to the prize as an incentive, but bare in mind - 4 days

if someone can explain me few things i might donate:
1. UK has equipment and facilities for the treatment he needs. it cant possibly be cheaper/safer to fly to USA for the treatment
2. 6 other european countries besides UK also have the equipment needed for proton therapy. why USA instead of these countries?
just seems weird
