Well, ive been wondering off how long this fantastic game will end
iff it's a year ore twenty i cant decide.

But what i think,

Since Toribash is about creating your own kinda movement and all off that
and making someting work in a fight for example in sparing ore akido
where you make ''starter move'' that can etheir attack ore counter
someones opponent.

I belive since a lot off people seem to like the idea off creativity in this game
will keep it alive for quite a long time.

True about the foruming part

Most people just market and earn tc to sell it...like it was a job
and mostly dont give a shiz about the real game.

Iff that keeps on (wich i hope hardly it dos not) population in tb might extinct...

I've quit a few times, but I always come back. just re downloaded tonight and have been making replays. kinda suck because I'm about two years rusty.

But I think it will last for a long, long time. I don't think many people will keep such long term interest, as the game is not evolving as quickly as it used to, but you are right, it does involve a lot of creativity.

I don't think that toribash will die anytime soon. You know, that guys that stop playing this game now will catch themselves thinking 'what was the name of that crazy game I played?' and then they come back. Millions of times, just like me, vigilante and X other players.

Also, we ARE growing. I remember the game and the forum of 08' and 09', we had less people playing, now we got like 1.8 million accounts (I know about the alts, but they are like 1/3 or 1/4 of the community). Just wait for our recognition BOOM and voila.

toribash was abandoned by devs long time ago. relax. the only people who pick up this game are people who can't play any other game.

Do you know what happened in 2008? GTA 4 was released, 2010? Red Dead redemption, 2007-2012? 6 new CODs, do you know what happened this year? Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider and Dead Space 3. Toribash didn't die and it wont come close to dying this year.

you kinda skipped the main point. the only people who ever pick up this game are people who can't play any other games due VERY outdated pc or people who got NOTEBOOK, so thats the only thing they can run on it. not because game got "fresh" or interesting concept etc, but because it have under-low hardware requirements and free to play. thats it.

How long do I think it'll stay alive?
Probably until the majority of the fan-base moves on to another game, or doesn't have fun with the "unique" and "creative" gameplay, and will soon turn back to the small community it used to be back then.
Personally, I don't go on the game much, I just go on the forums to see what stupid crap players are posting.

Idk how much is the cost of Toribash servers, but as long they are sustained by game income game will live.
