Yeah man. Imagine if you just defeated a 40000 ton version of the set imagined as a final boss in a video game. When he fell, what would his dq texture look like? That's what I want it to be like.

That's pretty sweet. But is it 125x125 without shaders/reflections?

If so, I think it looks awesome.

@nevra: I don't want an IMAGE, like a skull or a monster. I want a ring that looks demonicy... themed. That, while really impressive, doesn't look like a DQ Ring.

@chillz: cool, I like it a lot. I just want to see if the blue and grey swapped would look good. Make sure you can make it fit into a icon texture too!

The new ground texture looks absolutely excellent. If you make the head just a slight hue lighter to match that my head is in fact slightly more beige than I think that looks fantastic.

And that DQ was interesting. Not very subtle. But I like your idea a bit. Just spit a few out and have fun with it. You have my reference set to base it off of.

In my head, I'm thinking that I'm some ultimate evil that just got beaten and it's an absolutely huge deal. Like boss fight with satan, 4 trillion people attacked, and after years and years, this is the dq texture that happened when I fell to the ground.

sounds super demonic and majestic and heroic for a low quality textured circle but that should be the inspiration that your art heads in the direction of.

@GoodBox: I like your ground texture a lot, the only thing sort of perturbing was your choice of yellow. The only thing that's remotely yellow is rocker's head. That color should be IVORY for sure.

@Chillz: I definitely love the 3rd one the most. The chains were done really great and it looks just sketchy enough that it was done on purpose. The "sharp ground" however, made the ground texture lose it's shape and clean-ness.

@Nevra: Definitely in the better direction. The second one is better than the first for sure.
