In-game Chat Settings
This might be mainly used by room operators, users who wish to disconnect themselves from the current discussion/argument within their current room, communication with clan mates, friends, and for ease of finding particular line(s) of chat that interest a user.
So what I'm suggesting is simple; there would be several chat options situated at the bottom left of your screen (like the [game] button is currently), and they would read [All], [Public] , [Game], [Private], [Clan]
[All] would display everything, except for Operator commands if selectively visible.
[Public] would display all the chat (words typed by other users) visible to every other user in the room.
[Game] would display commands used, wins and loses (like they happen now), and Operator commands might just be visible to the GMs and Operators in the room.
[Private] would display whispered chat, possibly branching off to show the different users' titles (names).
[Clan] would display chat from your clan members throughout the game (not selectively within your current room).
Here's an example taken from Runescape.
Please discuss this suggestion in a positive manner.
Cheers.
To find a list of the commands you have to search for it, or ask another user who may or may not know.
There is no built-in list of commands showing all of them.
