Vid making's not as straight forward as it might seem.
Technically you could just get a stack of replays, some music & combine the two. Realistically if the camera was used correctly that would be the best way to show off skill in the game.
The problem with that is no one wants to see it, and any videos that have been made like that are buried in the forum & back end of Toritube. That makes it counter productive to make something that says "this is me, and this is what I can do."
Instead video makers are critiqued on their choice of music, how replays are synced to it, the shader they used, how many effects are in it, what transitions there are & how long they are... Oh, and the replays have to be good too.
In reality I could make a stack of crap replays, mask them with a load of editing and people would love it.
Therein lays why people can't find 1 video that shows off the game, but hundreds that show off the application they made the video with.
