Ranks are for multiple people. The single ponies represent the rank... not necessarily the number of people in that particular rank.

EDIT: I wasn't very good with following this thread, why did you guys deviate from just having rank names being ponies, each person having their own?
Just have higher ranked people have more privilages, but keep the name the pony of their choice, and give everyone else the same permissions (parasprite for trial is good, too)
