This clan seems to be lacking in activity from the former members. I guess Proctra left... still unclear on why. This seems like a whole new clan basically. Not sure what the council will think of that since they want at least 4 members who are active. I'm thinking that maybe becoming official again is a long ways away again. :/

The IRC is just there for looks. There's a Skype group already so that's the reason it's not active and all that.

I was never a fan of Skype, I might get into it when I get a splitter so my 2nd computer can share my network cable with it

I don't see why people like Skype over irc, irc is the same thing but takes far less resources :(

Skype is about the only thing I use to communicate with other people. That and Steam... and Facebook and such.

my irc client is always open, doesn't take any of my CPU (which is important since I have a single core 2.0GHz processor.) I can leave it in my tray while I play games and it doesn't cause any issues

Yeah, I have my IRC client on pretty much all the time. I have a dual core 2.26 GHz processor. xD 8 GB of RAM.
