What is the prpcess of making such a picture?

I used this picture:



and vectorized it with selection tool and paint bucket, only that.

I like the bones in the back, well done.

I've heard other opinions and they say it's very bad work... Idk what to think about it. I'm not thaat good at drawing but i can mapp stuff to look good...
This sure needs more work to look good, but it's not rlly that bad is it? considering it's bean only a few hrs of work...

its not that better, since the bamboo line has been discontinued. I just don't like the fact that the pointer needs to be changed once in a while, but that's ok I think.
