I know ive not been around as such but i feel the need to say this somewhere.
On Friday i have to go euthanize my cat of 26 years. Thats literally as long as i can remember.
She has been deaf for some time, but blindness as well is too much at her age, her sense of smell is diminishing and she is too old to adapt to the change. I have to guide her towards her food and litter tray and pick her up to put her in her favorite seat. When left to her own devices she bumps into things. She doesnt even purr when i pet her anymore.

Im fucking heartbroken over this and i wish id indulged her more while i we were both able. </3

I had 2 cats, a mother and a daughter cat. the baby died a few months ago, she was like 11 or so. it sucks

Thanks for the thoughts, Puss (Her name) was ridiculously long lived, well within the upper bund of cat longetivity, cant complain in the slightest.
