Don't know how that is a burn when the screenshot doesn't even say anything about any opener used. I'm totally for the use of openers. You can get some pretty wicked moves out of them.

If you had a 'running is allowed' rule then the event would be boring and nothing would happen. No fun at all (the winner might be ecstatic but I prefer to have players be on a level playing field). Where's the competitiveness in running?

Why enter a competitive wushu event if you cannot wushu?

If Shockey911 agrees then I guess that won't hurt the event at all. I'll PM him about it now.

Running for me is when you flee from your opponent from the moment you start winning. I also refer to tripoding as when someone keeps himself in balance for an extended period of time on three limbs. If I position myself for a jump I don't consider it tripoding.
The "Its for 100k" clearly refers to the efficient opener he used. Nothing wrong with using an efficient opener (snake doesn't agree)! Team wushu is trying to teach people how to play THEIR view of wushu They want to implement a meta game which not everyone agrees with. Its like if I came to you when you played chess and said the king had the ability to swap places with the queen. Its your event, do whatever you want with it. However, if fist gets disqualified I can honestly say you guys failed at hosting a fair event and disgust me.
As mentioned above, where is the competitiveness in running and tripodding?
Wushu's competitiveness comes from attacks and comebacks, just like any other no-grab mod.
The quote does not clearly refer to whatever opener he used, I can't see it anywhere (pls show me where it is).
I took out the 'no openers' and 'improv only' rule, so how am I trying to push "TeamWushu's view of wushu" onto people?
If you came to me and told me the king has the ability to swap places with the queen I would probably just laugh at you and continue to play with the normal rules. What are the normal rules of wushu?
I know Fist and how he plays. He chose to fling around after he had more points, and he chose to hit and run. However I'll PM Shockey911 and see if wants to do a rematch with him.

I think fist should report it cause it's obviously favoritism.

I wasn't concerned with running at all to begin with since we had such a fine list of players, so I had no need of adding a dojo to the mod. Adding a dojo to wushu changes it completely. Take out the dojo in aikido and it'd be very different, too.

Also it's not favouritism at all. If Fist was in TeamWushu I'd have made the same decision. The thought that
Shockey was in TeamWushu so I should let him through' had never even crossed my mind... why would you say such a thing?
Most people that play wushu actually try to comeback (or at least practice it in matches). If you hung out in the public wushu room or the wushu tourneys you'd know that. You're graph isn't accurate at all, by any means.
By the way, have you even read the rules of previous TeamWushu events?
Also how does the 'Team' in TeamWushu mean 'majority'?

Again, if you cannot play the mod, why choose to enter it?

So if I didn't add 'no running' you would've entered the event and ran from the other players? lol
Sorry for being such a bad host, no need to shun an entire organization for it, though. I guess I apologize for knowing people's playstyles and what they can do. =/
EDIT: Also I'm not fucking biased at all, stop saying that. I couldn't give two shits on who won the event, just as long as they stick to the rules.
