"Why the fuck is the mod wushu? No running wtf? OMG I have to do comebacks and actually play the mod?!? GAY EVENT OMFG!"

I didn't say it like that and I would never tend to say it like that. I say, if one sees those rules so harsh anyways, why wouldn't you just pick a variation of the mod where it's not even possible to run? Wouldn't that be more serious for a tourney? Also your definition of "how to play wushu" is pretty subjectively.

omg whats running in wushu?!
He can play the mod, just not the mod with a bunch of added rules which limit what you can do in the mod. Its like saying you must swim but you can't use your arms and you can't perform basic crawl kick or egg beater. A person could know how to swim and not be able to conform to your added rules.
Define comeback... Now there are two ways you can tackle this:
1. You say coming back is the opposite of running, which leads to a circular defintion and we end up going no where.
2. You say coming back is jumping towards your opponent even if you are winning.
Both can be combined of course, but that doesn't really interest us.
In this case, fist did attemp a "comeback" but it didn't work out. After failing, he tried another one. He never did the opposite of said definition of coming back, as he always lunged himself towards his opponent.
Bottom line is this wasn't a clear running situation. In french, we say, "Bénéfice du doute". Its a common saying here and it applies perfectly. (It means when you aren't sure about something, say the other guy is right because you aren't even close to being 100% certain)
